De l’Hymne officiel de la Coupe du Monde
Dans la lignée du Post précédent, Ozibao vous propose de faire un petit tour d’horizon des différentes chansons officielles des Coupes du Monde. Attention, mélomanes s’abstenir ! Mais, même s’ils peuvent vous paraître ridicules, tous ces hymnes n’ont pas été choisis au hasard. Ils ont conditionné tout le reste de leur compétition !
- 1986, tous les clichés sur le Mexique sont de sortie, mais on sent l’expérience d’un pays qui reçoit pour la deuxième fois en 16 ans, alors bienvenue au monde et « au miracle du ballon rond ». Le Miracle nous viendra de la main de Dieu…: disponible ici.

- 1990, une décennie commence, un hymne comme hommage à la splendeur des années 80 et aux stars au Tube unique. Une source de motivation sans aucun doute pour l’homme de ce Mundiale, Toto Schillaci : disponible ici.

- 1994, l’hymne se déguste sans le son, Diana Ross rate son pénalty. Comme un symbole, le pays de l’Oncle Sam n’est pas fait pour le foot et cette édition se terminera sur une séance de tir au but avec le raté de Baggio : disponible ici.

Un pour la France et les francophones, avec des paroles très engagées : « l’émotion et la passion au service du ballon rond », « c’est beau de voir un monde qui joue » « il t’appartient de faire un monde bien ». - 2002, vu que personne ne comprend le japonais ou le coréen, on a demandé à Vangelis de nous faire sans parole, on en reste sans voix comme face à l’arbitrage de cette édition : disponible ici.

- Scorpion ayant décliné l’offre en 2006 pour la World Cup en Allemagne, Tokyo Hotel pas assez mature, les organisateurs ne trouvant pas d’autres solutions germaniques dans leur Botte, ils firent le choix d’Il Divo. La Squaddra Azzura l’emporte à Berlin : disponible ici.
- Pour l’Afrique du Sud, en 2010, on s’attendait tous à Johnny Clegg, et bien non perdu : disponible ici. Pour le moment, tout ce que l’on sait c’est que l’hymne de ce premier mondial africain risque d’être surtout à base de vuvuzela…
